Review- Oriflame NovAge True Perfection 6pcs facial set

I have heard a lot about Oriflame products but never got around to buying or using them. Yesterday, I got an invite to a skincare studio in Debrecen, Hungary (Debrecen skincare) for a free facial.

The first step was using a moisture analyser to test the hydration of my skin. It also checks the oiliness and amount of dead cells on the skin. The gentleman tested the above features on my forehead, cheek and chin. This took just  2 minutes.Oriflame review, moisture analyser

The result was a shocker for me. My skin was dehydrated ( 1 bar out of 5), dry-not oily (2 bars out of 5) and it had a lot of dead cells (the device showed a sad smiley face in this case).

At this point , we moved on to the facials. This is where I introduce You to the Oriflame NovAge True perfection set.The box looks simple and sleek . It contains

  • Refining Foaming Gel Cleanser
  • Skin Renewing Toner
  • Refreshing Eye Illuminator
  • Miracle Perfecting Serum
  • Perfecting Day Moisturiser
  • Renewing Night Care

These are arranged in the order one would use them.Oriflame

Step-by-step procedure

Step 1:

Cleanse and tone

We started with the  NovAge Refining Foaming Gel Cleanser and Renewing Toner. This is done to cleanse the skin of make-up, impurities and dead cells. The toner can be applied everywhere on the face, including the eye area. The toner closes the pores that were opened during washing with the gel cleanser.

2:

Eyes

Apply a little amount of True Perfection Refreshing Eye Illuminator, it has a silver roller for application. I  then used my finger to rub it in.  It works by hydrating and smoothing out fine lines.

3:

Serum for boost

Next, apply True Perfection Miracle Perfecting Serum. It amplifies the effect of the day and night creams.Without it, these creams will only penetrate the first layer of the skin. However, the serum helps by making the creams sink deeper into the skin thereby resulting in a better outcome.

4:

Moisturise

We finished off with True Perfection Perfecting Day Cream. It felt very light and grease-free. In the night, substitute this step with the night cream.

My Verdict

My face felt very happy and light afterwards, it had a radiant look (not shiny). I have ordered my box set and can’t wait to receive it during the week. The price is not bad considering what You get for it. They last for 3 months or even more, a little amount works wonders.

Oriflame
Me, after the session

The moisture analyser was used to test the skin on my face after the procedure. Hydration improved from 1 bar to 3 bars, it was oily (this was because the cream had not fully absorbed, so it was normal)  and the dead skin cells were gone, so it showed a smiley face 🙂 on my cheeks and chin and a straight face on my forehead 😐 .

You can Purchase Yours here.

They are currently doing a 40% discount on the set of 6.

Stay beautiful

My skin could really use a treatment like this; I’ll have to see if I can find it up here in Shetland.

I wonder what level of hydration my skin is showing. It really suffers this time of year and I am rubbish at looking after it. Will have to see if there is one local to me.

I was surprised that mine (hydration) was low. I realised that I was busy working on preventing breakouts, I forgot to keep it hydrated. The current weather does not favor the skin xxx
